What you approve (dry runs and guardrails)
MemberPress.ai does real work on your site — but you are always the one who says go. Approval isn’t a setting you can forget to turn on; it’s how the product works.
Dry run first, always
Every write previews as a dry run before anything happens. You see exactly what would change — which membership, which rule, which price — and nothing is written until you explicitly execute it.
A second confirmation for sensitive actions
Some actions carry more weight, so they ask twice. Refunds and subscription changes require a second, human confirmation on top of the dry-run preview.
Reading is safe
Exploring your site never changes it. MemberPress.ai can read your memberships, members, transactions, and reports freely — you cannot break a site by letting it explore. Only an approved, executed write changes anything.
Your credentials stay yours
The plugin never sends your credentials anywhere, and your password never leaves your site. Authorization happens on your own WordPress login and is revocable there.
This holds whether you work from wp-admin or from your own AI client. For the bigger picture, see What is MemberPress.ai?.
FAQ
Can MemberPress.ai change my site without asking?
No. Every write previews as a dry run first and only executes when you explicitly approve it. Sensitive actions like refunds and subscription changes ask for a second confirmation.
Can I break my site by letting it explore?
No. Reading and exploring your site never changes anything. Only an approved, executed write changes your site.
